An active member of the British Woodcarvers Association Peter co-ordinated and participated in the creation of the Severn Pole Story Pole at the Wildlife and Wetlands Trust, Slimbridge, in 1992 He has taken part in the Sculptree Big Tree carving event since its inception in 1993. His work has attracted the top price at the Sculptree auction on several occasions, the most notable being his 12ft high “Dragon” in 1997. In contrast he has undertaken work on a miniature scale, the smallest being a figure in ebony ¾ inch (18mm) high.

A member of the British Decoy Wildfowl Carvers Association, Peter has won a number of awards, and has been invited to judge national competitions. He has also exhibited with the Society of Wildlife Artists.

Examples of Peter's work are in the possession of the Sultan of Brunei, Emir of Doah, Duke of Westminster, Viscount Linley, The National Trust, Nature in Art and Westminster Abbey.

Peter is pleased to undertake commissions for wood sculpture and fine furniture, traditional and modern.
